Process:
The approval of applications is determined by the Transport Board with recommendations by the respective Route Association and the National Council on Public Transport. The refusal or approval of permit will be communicated to the applicant. A successful applicant must commence operation within 3 months of the date of approval/notification. All vehicles will be inspected and the owner issued with the appropriate permit. The assigned number plate, route banner and number plate sticker must be affixed by a Ministry Personnel.
Requirements:
Applicant must be a Saint Lucian citizen
Proof of ownership of/intention to own an omnibus
Successful completion of the Defensive Driving Course
Must be of good character (provide Police record)
Must have attained age 25
