WORLD IN SERBIA PROJECT FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2024/2025
The Republic of Serbia through the Serbian Ministry of Education is offering two (2) scholarship opportunities as part of the ‘‘World in Serbia’’ Programme to Saint Lucian nationals desirous of pursuing studies in Serbia, for the 2024/2025 academic year.
VALUE OF THE SCHOLARSHIP
The scholarship awarded under the Project includes:
- Paid costs of Serbian language preparatory courses and selected studies;
- scholarship monetary award amounting 18,000.00 RSD;
- paid accommodation and food in the student standard facilities;
- health insurance;
- free temporary resident visa; and
- free validation of high school/university diplomas.
The scholarship does not include:
- travel expenses for arrival to and departure from the Republic of Serbia;
- costs of public transport in the Republic of Serbia; and
- expenses for textbooks and work resources during studies
TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR OBTAINING A SCHOLARSHIP
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following conditions:
- be a Saint Lucian national;
- be fluent in the English language; and
- be of age:
- 21 years or younger for bachelor’s degree level studies and must possess an Associate Degree/College qualifications;
- 25 years or younger for master’s degree level studies and must possess a bachelor’s degree in an area of study leading/similar to the intended area of study;
- 35 years or younger for doctoral academic studies and must possess a master’s degree in an area of study leading/similar to the intended area of study.
SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION PROCESS

 application for two study programmes (specify which is the your preferred programme and the alternative in accordance with qualifications and terms and conditions for enrolment);- curriculum vitae with a motivational letter in English;
- photocopy of the biographical page on your passport;
- certified photocopies of academic certificates;
- academic transcripts;
- proof of English (certificate, transcript, confirmation, etc.);
- a medical certificate not older than six months confirming that the candidate does not suffer from any infectious disease; and
- certificate that he/she is HIV negative.
