2021 OAS-MIU Scholarship Opportunity
The General Secretariat of the Organization of American States (GS/OAS) and the Marconi International University (MIU) of the United States have collaborated to support outstanding individuals from the Americas by sponsoring the following academic scholarships, to pursue online studies in the follow areas:
Scholarship benefits are subject to the academic performance of the scholarship recipient and based on the availability of funds. In order to receive these benefits, the scholarship recipient should not be reported with an unsatisfactory academic performance due to absences or failing courses.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered, the applicant must:
➢ Provide an unconditional admission letter to the Marconi International University
- This scholarship opportunity is open to new applicants as well as current students at MIU who are from an OAS member state.
➢ Submit a complete scholarship application with all required supporting documents.
➢ Be a citizen and/or permanent legal resident of Saint Lucia.
The following applicants are ineligible:
- Current OAS scholarship holders and citizens and/or permanent residents of the United States.
- GS/OAS staff and their immediate relatives or GS/OAS consultants.
- OAS Permanent officials and their immediate relatives.

Expenses not covered by the scholarship
- Remaining 40% of tuition fees;
- Application fees of USD 150;
- Foreign credential evaluation (FCE) cost of USD 150;
- Graduation fees of USD 400; and
- Any additional charges not covered by the OAS-MIU PAEC Scholarship
Selection of Awardees
MIU and the OAS will select the scholarship awardees, based on the criteria listed above. The names of the scholarship recipients will be published in May 2022 at www.oas.org/scholarships.
The OAS will contact selected candidates by email with the scholarship offer and instructions for the scholarship acceptance. Please note that unsuccessful applicants will not be contacted.
