A PUBLIC HEALTH FAIR WILL BE HELD ON APRIL 28.
As Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Week comes to a close, WASCO reflects on a meaningful series of activities that highlighted the importance of safety awareness and preparedness across the organization. The week featured engaging events such as a Safety Hunt at offices and treatment plants, Bomb Scare Training, Health Walk and Fitness Session, all aimed at strengthening workplace readiness and encouraging team participation.
The final activity on the OHS Week calendar is a public health fair set for Monday April 28, under the theme "Embracing Health and Wellness." Taking place at both the Head Office in L’Anse Road, Castries, and the Vieux Fort Office from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the fair will offer a variety of services including blood pressure testing, BMI assessments, rapid HIV screening, ear, eye, and dental exams, and general health education.
Open to all, the fair provides an opportunity for staff and members of the public to access essential health services and information. WASCO remains dedicated to fostering a culture of safety and well-being that supports its team and the people it serves.
