In keeping with the NYC's #FullPotential project, the tour exposed students to career options.
The students council attached to the Division of Technical Education and Management Studies (DTEMS) at the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College (SALCC), last week toured the Bordelais Correctional Facility.
The educational tour was organized by the DTEMS Students Council to help highlight the role of the Bordelais Correctional Facility in society, and to learn about the various career opportunities that are available at the facility.
Nyhymn Terrance, President of the DTEMS Students Council said the educational tour was an excellent opportunity to expose students to different career pathways. He pointed out that the project is also in line with the #FULLPotential project, an initiative implemented by the Saint Lucia National Youth Council and the Saint Lucia National Students Council that exposes students to career pathways and the ways in which they can obtain their objectives.
The tour of the facility was held on March 31.
