A Sitting of Saint Lucia's House of Assembly is scheduled for Tuesday, February 11, 2014 with Papers to be laid and Bills to be presented by the Honourable Dr. Kenny D. Anthony, Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Economic Affairs, Planning and Social Security. 

The following Motion is down for consideration : 

" BE IT RESOLVED that the Parliament approves the Value Added Tax (Rate of Tax) (Goods and Services – Hotels and other providers in the tourism sector) Order, No.7 of 2017." 

A number of Bills are also down for consideration. They are: 

    * Electronic Transactions (Amendment) 

    * Anti Gang 

    * Finance Administration 

This is the first sitting of the House of Assembly for 2014 and is scheduled to commence at 10:00 am. The Senate is expected to convene on Thursday, February 13th, 2014.
