Piaye Bridge community consultation
Monday, September 19, 2022
THE CONSULTATION IS IN AN EFFORT TO REVIEW EU-FUNDED ACTIVITIES UNDER THE DVRP.

To continually engage the public and stakeholders with the progress and impact of the construction of the Piaye Bridge, the European Union (EU) Supervision Team is hosting a community consultation on Tuesday, September 20.

The consultation is part of the European Union Mission for review of EU-funded activities under the Disaster Vulnerability Reduction Project. It will be held from 6 p.m. at the Piaye Combined School. Public participation is invited.

The Disaster Vulnerability Reduction Project (DVRP), last week, also hosted an in-person site visit with project consultants, specialists and personnel from the Project Co-ordination Unit (PCU). Both the site visit and consultation are to ensure the consistent application of EU legislation and to review EU-funded activities under the DVRP.
