SUNDAY DISTRIBUTIONS ACCOUNT FOR 532 PASSPORTS.
The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force is aware of the inconvenience posed by the processing of passports. One of the steps taken thus far under the guidance of the acting Commissioner Mr. Ronald Phillip, was to designate Sundays as a day for the collection of passports.
Between July 20 and Aug. 14, the Immigration Department issued 5181 passports. The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force is also pleased to report that a large number of persons are utilizing the Sunday service. During this period, Sunday distributions account for 532 passports.
The Acting Commissioner of Police and the executive of the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force would like to extend its immense gratitude to the public for its co-operation and continued support, as the police force examines all available options to make improvements to the passport process.
