Baron Foods' Banana Ketchup product was recognized globally for its unique flavor profile.
Baron Foods has won the prestigious 2015 International Superior Taste Award for its innovative Banana Ketchup.
The award was presented by the International Taste and Quality Institute (iTQi), at an award ceremony in Brussels, Belgium on June 4. The ceremony brings together global food and beverages manufacturers to review developments in the food and beverage industry.
Baron Foods' Banana Ketchup product was also recognized at the 2013 Top Innovations of Anuga Taste 13 competition.
The product was recognized globally for its unique flavor profile, was granted a two-gold-star award which classified it as a “remarkable” product, and was ranked between 80 - 90 percent under the Superior Taste Award judging criteria.
Baron Foods is now the only company within the Caribbean to have attained two awards from iTQi. In 2014, the West Indian Hot Sauce product was also the recipient of a Gold Star award.

With plants located in three Caribbean countries, the company currently manufactures over 150 products which include exotic and gourmet sauces, condiments, spices, flavorings, low fat mayonnaise, salad dressings and drink cocktails.
Baron Foods is export oriented and currently serves markets in the USA, Canada, Europe, Japan, Guyana and the entire English, French, Dutch and Spanish speaking islands of the Caribbean.
