Laborie to host music festival

ENJOY AN EVENING OF UNFORGETTABLE PERFORMANCES BY TALENTED MUSICIANS AND FOLK GROUPS.

The Anse Kawet Crafters and the Laborie-Augier Constituency Council will host a music festival in Laborie, next month.

The event is part of the schedule of activities planned in observance of Saint Lucia’s 46th Anniversary of Independence.

The Laborie Music Festival will be held on Sunday, March 2, from 2 to 8 p.m., at the Papel Craft Centre (near Rudy John Beach) in Laborie. It will feature lots of eats, drinks, and craftwork on sale, with activities that include face painting, bouncy castles, stilt walkers, folk bands, and performances by special guest artists. La Marguerite and La Rose groups will also be featured.

The event is sponsored by the Taiwan Technical Mission and the Ministry of Commerce, Manufacturing, Business Development, Cooperatives, and Consumer Affairs. The media is also invited.
