"The Resilient Renewable Energy Infrastructure Investment Facility (RREIIF) Project is designed as a regional program with a goal of creating an enabling environment for renewable energy and attracting major companies and investors into small island nations. This will encourage the development of interest and momentum in the countries to implement the necessary policies and infrastructure to fully benefit from regional developments.

This Environmental and Social Management Framework (ESMF) is developed to support the environment and social due diligence provisions for activities financed by the Project. This ESMF specifically addresses the environmental and social risks related to Project components that will be implemented by the national
