College and Career Fair starts tomorrow

THE EIGHT-HOUR EVENT STARTS AT 10 A.M. ON WEDNESDAY AND 9 A.M. ON THURSDAY.

The Ministry of Education, Sustainable Development, Innovation, Science, Technology and Vocational Training will be hosting the annual Saint Lucia College and Career Fair on Wednesday, November 02 and Thursday, November 03, 2022, at the Finance Administrative Centre, Pointe Seraphine, Castries, Saint Lucia. 

Participating in this year’s College Fair will be representatives from local, regional and international educational institutions and agencies. The theme of this year’s College and Career Fair is: “A resilient nation: Securing our future through unlimited opportunities”.

The objectives of the Fair are to:

  • provide the public, especially the youth and their parents, an opportunity to interact with representatives of various local, regional and international institutions;
  • obtain information that will assist them in making informed decisions about furthering their education;
  • provide interested Saint Lucians with an opportunity to discover the diversity of higher education in the Caribbean region and internationally;
  • allow experienced professionals and experts to impart knowledge on their various professions to students; and
  • create an awareness of the various career paths, and the skills and qualifications needed for certain professions.
  • limit the amount of time and money spent when applying to tertiary institutions; and
  • provide regional and international institutions with a unique opportunity to diversify their student population by recruiting a high caliber of students from Saint  Lucia.

The public is invited to attend the Saint Lucia College and Career Fair 2022 on Wednesday, November 02, 2022, from 10:00a.m. – 6:00p.m, and Thursday, November 03, 2022, from 9:00a.m – 5:00p.m, to meet with the recruiters and advisors from the participating institutions.
