The Saint Lucia National Commission for UNESCO announces a call for the submission of applications for the second edition of the UNESCO-Al Fozan International Prize for the Promotion of Young Scientists in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
This prize is awarded biennially to five talented young people under the age of 40, from all of UNESCO’s geographic regions, for their contributions to scientific, research, education or scientific cooperation.
The prize recognizes and awards achievements that are conducive to capacity building, the development of scientific careers and socio-economic development at the national, regional and global level. The five laureates will each receive $50,000 USD to help launch their careers and share their ideas on a wider scale.
