A graduation ceremony was held for 10 correctional officers who received training in Corrections and Conflict Resolution.
The Bordelais Correctional Facility (BCF) recently held a graduation ceremony for 10 new correctional officers who received “on the job” training.
The five-month training program commenced in November 2014 and ended in February 2015, and educated officers in various aspects of prison operations such as Introduction to Corrections and Conflict Resolution.
The Home Affairs and National Security Minister Senator Philip La Corbiniere attended the graduation ceremony and congratulated the new trainees.
The ceremony was held on Friday, May 29.
