THE MINISTRY OF TOURISM, INVESTMENT, CREATIVE INDUSTRIES, CULTURE AND INFORMATION WILL BE CONDUCTING SCHOOL VISITS TO THE SECONDARY SCHOOLS ACROSS THE ISLAND IN ORDER TO STIMULATE AND GENERATE AWARENESS, AND PARTICIPATION IN ITS UPCOMING 2023 NATIONAL TOURISM PUBLIC SPEAKING COMPETITION.
The Ministry of Tourism, Investment, Creative Industries, Culture and Information will be conducting school visits to the secondary schools across the island in order to stimulate and generate awareness, and participation in its upcoming 2023 National Tourism Public Speaking Competition.
The winner of this year’s competition will earn the title of Saint Lucia’s 2023-2024 Junior Minister for Tourism and will represent Saint Lucia at the upcoming Caribbean Tourism Youth Congress which will be held later this year in Turks & Cacois.
A contingent comprising representatives from the Ministry of Tourism and prominent performers in the Creative Industries Sector will be visiting the respective secondary schools. The first school visit is scheduled for Tuesday, March 21st, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. at the Babonneau Secondary school with the culmination of this activity happening at Soufriere Comprehensive Secondary School at Tuesday April 4, 2023.
