THE AL AKHAWAYN UNIVERSITY –
FULL BACHELOR OF ARTS SCHOLARSHIP IN INTERNATIONAL STUDIES
The Government of the Kingdom of Morocco is pleased to invite applications from suitably qualified candidates desirous of pursing a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Morocco, scheduled to commence in January 2021.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Situated on a sprawling modern campus amidst the Atlas Mountain, the Al Akhawayan University is a prestigious and internationally recognized academic institution in Ifrane, which adopts rich academics in English language, and follows the classic American liberal arts programme. VALUE OF SCHOLARSHIP
The Government of the Kingdom of Morocco will cover the complete cost of studying at AL Akhawayan University, which amounts to approximately 20,000 to 30,000 US Dollars per academic year. The programme will provide the opportunity for one (1) candidate no older than 20 years old with a minimum of CSEC General II profiles to benefit from this award.
In addition, the following cost will be covered: -
- stipend of 750 Dirham per month (from September to August);
- accommodation;
- meals on campus; and
- one (1) return travel ticket

In addition, you are also required to submit two (2) copies of each of the following documents along with the application form:
- certified CSEC certificate;
- Official transcript;
- birth certificate;
- photocopy of passport bio-data page;
- One (1) recent police record;
- A medical certificate showing physical attesting to the candidate’s physical fitness and certifying that he or she is vaccinated and is not affected by any contagious or acute illness, in particulars tuberculosis; and
- Two (2) recent passport photographs, in colour, (with the full name and nationality of the candidate written on the back).
Completed application forms should be submitted to the Human Resource Development Unit of the Department of Education, Innovation and Gender Relations, 4th Floor, Francis Compton Building, The Waterfront, Castries.
Deadline to submit completed applications is Friday, October 9, 2020.
