2020/2021 Government of Pakistan Scholarships Programme for Small Island Developing States (SIDS)

The Government of Pakistan, through Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan, announces its call for nominations for the Government of Pakistan scholarship programme for Small Island Developing States (SIDS).  The scholarship is open to nationals who are interested in Graduate level studies relevant to Water and Climate Change, commencing September 2020.   

These scholarships are being offered to help Small Island Developing States (SIDS) develop capacity in Climate Change and Water Management in the face of the present global economic, environmental and development challenges.

VALUE OF SCHOLARSHIP

The Government of Pakistan Scholarships Programme for Small Island Developing States (SIDS) covers the following :

• Tuition fee;
• Living stipend;
• Book allowance
• One return air ticket;

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

To complete the application process, the applicant will be required to submit the following:

PhD Programme

• Scanned copy of Master’s degree certificate along with transcript
• Scanned copy of Bachelor’s degree certificate along with transcript
• Scanned copy of College certificate along with transcript
• Scanned copy of Secondary School Education certificate along with transcript

Master’s Programme

• Scanned copy of Bachelor’s degree certificate along with transcript

• Scanned copy of College certificate along with transcript
• Scanned copy of Secondary School Education certificate along with transcript

In addition, each applicant is required to submit the following:

• Scanned copy of passport biodata page
• Scan copy of TOEFL result or IELTS result or English Proficiency Certificate from the last attended university in which it may be stated that the mode of education was English language

·    Statement of Purpose

·    Research Proposal (if applying for Ph.D.)

·    Email addresses and Whatsapp numbers of the nominees
