The General Secretariat of the Organization of American States (OAS) through the Department of Human Development, Education and Employment is offering scholarships in the programme Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development which will run from October 24th, 2016 to January 27th, 2017. The modality of the course is online and the language of instruction is English.
OBJECTIVES
The course aims to:
- provide theoretical and practical tools for those managing CSR in various organizations;
- stimulate the generation of best practice related to CSR;
- encourage companies to incorporate CSR into their policies, processes procedures and overall strategy; and
- strengthen the links between organizations, suppliers and customers through responsible management systems.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
To qualify for the scholarship, the candidates must:
- be citizens or permanent residents of a member state of the OAS;
- have an academic degree especially in social sciences; and
- submit the completed application and supporting documents before the deadline set by the Department of Education, Innovation and Gender Relations.
BENEFITS
The recipient will receive the following:
50% partial scholarship (Scholarship recipients will be responsible the payment of the remaining 50% of the tuition fee: US$500.00).
